Apple Developer Tools Troubleshooting ReportInstallation warnings. - Version: August 2003 update, 9/17/2003 04:52PM PST

If your installer fails, or gives you error warnings, first remove the file
/usr/local/lib/libcc_noc++.a -- which should be a symbolic link -- and try again.
If that fails, log in as root -- it worked for me and gcc-3.3 works fine.
See the discussion in Macfixit, ofr the developer bug-list.

Apple Developer Tools Troubleshooting ReportOmniWeb is the answer - Version: August 2003 update, 9/17/2003 03:30PM PST

Valkire
Omniweb beats all others when it comes to ftp downloads. even certain ftp sites that IE cant seem to download from(for me anyhow). so if you have problems, goto OmniWeb, you wont regret it. (i was pulling my hair out tying to get this to download, then i tried with OmniWeb and it worked like a charm)

Apple Developer Tools Troubleshooting Reportdownload stall - Version: August 2003 update, 9/17/2003 05:50AM PST

The download stalled for me about 60% through using Mozilla and the USA 1 site. Tried again with Safari and USA 2, and it downloaded fine.
