PhotoSite TimeSaviour ReviewGreat Software - Version: 1.5, 8/11/2009 11:41PM PST

rob68--2008
As a photographer I love this software, I run an Intel Mac, and despite this software getting a little old, it still works wonderfully, even though it's native to PPC and not Intel Macs.

I would like to see this software updated to comply with all the latest W3c guidelines though - and use tableless CSS layouts, that is my only criticism, their website says there will be a version 2, but unfortunately it's said that for ages, it's a program I'd happily pay a nominal fee for if they updated it ($10 or so).

PhotoSite TimeSaviour ReviewAlmost but not quite - Version: 1.5, 10/26/2005 09:34AM PST

Pros:

-Fully-customizable web pages, lots of features and options.

Cons:

- The image order window has to be the absolute worst UI element I have ever seen, it's a deal-breaker for me. Chasing one file at a time up and down a linear list one click at a time, argh. Try moving 40 or 50 images around with this...

- Requires all source images to be in one directory, you can't drag and drop (or otherwise add images) from various places.

- Crashes every time I quit the program (OS 10.4.2)

I don't know HTML. I really don't have the time or ambition to learn it. I have done HTML and it's pretty much a trainwreck. I found this software, to display pictures on my webspace to my relatives. EXACTLY what I was looking to do.!!! This is the BEST software I have dloaded in a LONG time. And, i've just scratched the surface as to what this will do. I *wish* I were a coder. This is just the sort of thing I would write. EXCELLENT JOB!

PhotoSite TimeSaviour ReviewWHOA! - Version: 1.5, 1/10/2005 10:16AM PST

Thats about all I can say on this software! This is simple and easy to use but very powerful. I have had to make galleries in the past thru a few different programs and this took all that work away in 2 mins. ;)
Props to the developer... One of the few programs some one put thought into.

PhotoSite TimeSaviour Commentarythe best gallery generator I know of - Version: 1.5, 8/30/2004 10:45AM PST

it exists for OS X and it has been improved a lot since. something great made even better. well simply great. been using it for a while. i can take a bunch of pictures and have a great looking gallery in minutes. no resizing/linking. what would take hours PSTS does it in seconds. and it is FREE and all the other gallery generators seem junk compared to this. PSTS has a nice look and no tackiness in the output. and now it is possible to move images around. there a couple of things that could improved or added, like reordering images by drag and drop - and maybe getting rid of font tags and use CSS. but maybe i don't see it and i can always tweak the code later. I am no webdesigner - just a photographer that designs his own site. anyway this is great and fast and free. i dont know of anything better value than this. and better than this anyway

PhotoSite TimeSaviour ReviewDoes what all… - Version: 1.4.5, 6/25/2002 08:53PM PST

the other image utilities don't: It double-downsamples your huge images to make both thumbnail and web-sized versions; lets you choose the sizes of both of these; puts labels under each thumbnail; lets you add notes to each enlargement; segregates your images; and much more. Options out the wazoo, and it *works*. No crashes. If only there were an OS X version!! Highly recommended nonetheless.

ever wish this was available for OSX. I miss this app so much. It's the only thumbnail app that gives you so much control and so many options...and it's free to boot.
