I tried it on an ARCOS protected DVD and it didn't work. I see no reason to get this over any other ripper that doesn't work.

This looks like an awesome app for a good price but....
Anything that requires me to "Enable GUI Scripting" for AppleScript is a red flag. This allows a script to effectively take control of mouse and keyboard action at will. A security hazard and no-no to me.
Kinda like when an app asks me for my admin password and says it will just pass it on to the system. Everything might be fine but you just don't know.
