This is one of those apps that does only one thing - it totals the amount of money you've spent on iPhone apps by checking your itunes folder and allows you to do some useful sorting by price, category etc. Not world shattering by any means, but it says something about the lateral thinking of its author.
Like most people who bought an iPhone I constantly downloaded apps - the fact that at least two thirds got trashed is another story. I'd always intended to total up the cost of my "over-enthusiasm" but the thought of trawling though the multitude of emails that the itunes store sends always put me in a soporific trance.
This app does it in the blink of an eye - and that's it - nothing else ... but what a revelation if you haven't been keeping tabs on your expenditure. I couldn't believe I've spent almost $300 in the two months I've had the iPhone ... the novelty is wearing thin now but that $300 is downright embarrassing.
If you've got an iPhone or an iPod you really ought to do yourself a favor and download this free program.
The developer gets five stars, not just for the application, but because of some pretty nifty original thinking.

Fun if a bit slow if you've downloaded a lot of apps. I'll be playing with the exported data (great feature) in a spreadsheet, though.
