Product Description:
bonzai3d is a new 3D modeler developed by AutoDesSys for quick, easy, simple, yet robust 3d modeling. The goal is to offer conceptual and sketching stages of design, yet CAD accurate models that can be used further down the production pipeline such as construction drawings, renderings, animation, fabrication, rapid prototyping with 3D printing, or with any application that depends on good clean solid 3D models.
What's new in this version:
bonzai3d 1.2 is primarily a maintenance update for bonzai3d. This includes compatibility with OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). Note that bonzai3d is not yet a 64 bit application hence it does not yet take advantage of the new 64 bit support in Snow Leopard. We hope to support this in the future in formZ, but we still need Spatial (ACIS) and Lightworks to deliver 64 bit versions of OS X it before we can! Note that with Snow Leopard compatibility, we re-gain 3D Warehouse support on OS X that Google recently broke in OS X 10.5.
This version also includes Japanese and Italian localizations.
There are also a number of important bug corrections including the export of images with shadows and sweeping along non planar wire paths.
