Product Description:

ODBC Manager is a replacement for Apple's ODBC administrator utility, which is no longer included with Mac OS X (starting with Snow Leopard).

ODBC Manager also addresses some of the problems and annoyances of Apple's administrator, including the use of underscores in names and keywords.

ODBC Manager is freely distributable. Application and driver vendors are encouraged to include ODBC Manager in their distributions.

For the record, we campaigned as hard as we could to have Apple keep ODBC Administrator in Snow Leopard. Their compromise was to make it available from their support area. We didn't learn they were going to do that until we had already developed ODBC Manager.

We have no way of knowing what the future holds for ODBC Administrator as a separate download. We want all ODBC users to have an administrator they can be sure of, which is why we made ODBC Manager available now.

You should go ahead and use ODBC Administrator if you prefer, but we believe the future rests with ODBC Manager (which is why we include it with our drivers).

Actual are a good company, I've been using their Access drivers for Mac for many years but:

Saying the ODBC Manager/Admin Tool is not available with Snow Leopard is true but doesn't really paint the real picture, tut tut... It is now a separate download:
