Sony eBook Library Software ReviewSlow, unresponsive, generally buggy... - Version: 3.0, 9/18/2009 04:19AM PST

Remember the spinning rainbow pizza? Install this and you can rediscover its hypnotic power. This software is so badly thought out. Example: the interface is based loosely on iTunes, but when you click on the computer icon to browse your Hard drive for text files you can only navigate one way - down. If you want to go back up to an enclosing folder or even the root of your hard drive too bad. But then nobody would need to do that would they?!

Sony eBook Library Software CommentaryInstalls Kernel Extension - Version: 3.0, 9/3/2009 06:34PM PST

This may or may not be cause for alarm, but be aware that this installs a kernel extension. It's most likely for DRM, but Sony has had problems with this kind of thing before.
