Hoyle Card Games 2010 ReviewFun program, terrible programming - Version: 1.0, 9/18/2009 07:54PM PST

montylee
I've owned every version of the Hoyle games and had hoped this 2010 version would fix many of the previous bugs. It does not. Not only that, it introduces a slew of new problems. The "random" cards are not. After you play awhile, you will see the same characters and cards (Hearts in particular). With Canasta, all you see is the players and cards--you have NO IDEA what the meld is, what the score is, and the status of the deck. On top of that, many games (like Canasta) have removed the ability to double-click the card to play it. You have to manually drag the card to the discard pile or home area to play it or meld. Extremely tedious. This makes this game totally worthless because I want to play the game, not master my ability to drag my mouse around. Very, very disappointing. This program has so many problems it should not be sold!
