Product Description:

FrontTV is a PlugIn component for Front Row 2.0 that ships with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Once installed you can launch Elgato's EyeTV software from inside of Front Row. The program also ensures that once launched, EyeTV remains the active application until it is quit allowing the full screen menu to be accessed using the Apple IR remote control. The EyeTV application must reside in your Applications folder for this software to work.

Indeed a very nice idea!!!
But why limit this to 10.5 & Intel only?

EyeTV runs at PPC and Intel and supports 10.4 & 10.5.
The least you can do is support the latest EyeTV requirements. Or am I asking too much here?

I've just downloaded the code (thanks for the link at your homepage) and I'm going to try building a Universal app which is compatible with 10.4 and PPC.

I can't say for sure if this will work but it can't be to hard changing the code?

rruthless

Nice idea, but not working for me. Gets to the 'loading eyetv' message in front row but the gear keeps turning for 10 minutes and eyetv does not open. Have to power off to get out of it. Paul and Sally, perhaps you can help.
