Macsome Audio Recorder ReviewWould like a better trial version before buying! - Version: 1.0.4, 10/27/2009 07:48PM PST

The applications SEEMS nice. The trial version only allows 3 minutes of recording. Which doesn't give me time to evaluate its stability and worth for buying it at $29.95. Even 15 days of trial with a full working version would likely give me a better chance to decide. (After all, I already have QT Pro for the same price.) I am particularly attracted to its ability to record directly to mp3 and to set track info for iTunes to pick up. Thus my consideration despite having ipods that record and QT Pro. Allows me to record tiny files without the extra steps to convert/compress.

I like how I can record from the applications' audio sources. As well as the built-in mic or any other line-in source.

I find the INSPECTOR limited. It would be nice to have some control over the audio recording. Like how sensitive I want to set the mic (without going into the Sound Control Panel.) Or feedback as to whether or not I will distort. It would be equally nice to have some kind of feedback when recording from an application's audio source such as how the recording levels are.

My first impression is a good one. :) Just on the fence about the price with only 3 minutes of testing.
