- Re: all advertised features are not present
I downloaded this app because I was looking for some way to find out who was connected to a workstation AFP share which the description of this app says it will do. However, it does not. In fact, in the ReadMe file, the developer admits that it does not:
"Who Is Connected? doesn't do everything that it says on the tin (yet). Who Is Connected? shows you the status of AFP & SSH and tells you that someone is connected. In addition it notifies you of new SSH connections and gives the IP addres and login name of the user. However, it doesn't list individual connections at a given point in time."
While I understand the need to advertise future development, advertising features of the app that are not currently present is misleading and justifies the lousy rating I'm leaving. Of the features that are present, those work fine, but saying that an app is going to do something that it doesn't seems to me to be the definition of an app that doesn't work. I would recommend adjusting the description or implementing the advertised functionality.
