SaveHollywood Troubleshooting ReportPrevents display sleep - Version: 1.9.1, 11/9/2009 02:03PM PST

Straightforward and looks great. However, it prevents my machine from letting the display go to sleep (as soon as I switch back to a built-in screensaver, my display will sleep normally). Unfortunately this bug is a deal-breaker until it is fixed. =(

SaveHollywood Commentarynew features - Version: 1.9.1, 11/18/2007 10:07AM PST

is it possible to add hotkeys during the time, when the screensaver is activated, that you can:
control the volume and/or fast forward and back?
i would also appreciate an option, if the movies would start everytime from another point and not always from the beginning. thx

SaveHollywood Troubleshooting ReportSelecting Folder - Version: 1.9, 9/6/2007 07:37AM PST

JYMW5
Is it possible to add some features to this program ? You can add a folder to the playlist, but the function is only single layer deep, ie. the prgm does not seem to look any further into different levels of folders.

so say, I have many movies in a folder Birthday, then within it, there may be John's Birthday Folder, or David's Birthday Folder etc etc.

Anyway, it would be much better to look into all depths and then play the movies in random.

Also, I find it very annoying as the prgm does not seem to play PHOTOS !!!!

It only seems to play movies. But why not both ????

It seems technically very easy to do.

Thank you very much.

SaveHollywood Troubleshooting ReportCan't exit quicktime movies once activated... - Version: 1.8.1, 7/31/2007 12:53PM PST

Unless I hit the esc key. On SaveHollywood's website, it says you can deactivate with a touch of the mouse? Sent a copy to my buddy, he is having the same issue. Any suggestions? Thanks,
J

SaveHollywood Troubleshooting ReportProblem with QuickTime 7.1.6 - Version: 1.8.1, 5/3/2007 02:31PM PST

NakAttack
The authentication dialog (where you enter your username and password) to unlock the screen occasionally does not appear since I installed the QuickTime 7.1.6 update. This problem has forced me to discontinue use of SaveHollywood. :-(

SaveHollywood Troubleshooting ReportProblem w/10.4.8 and/or Security Update 2007-001 - Version: 1.8.1, 2/7/2007 07:05PM PST

I have noticed that my MacBook Pro's display has a slight blue cast to it after I unlock my screen after SaveHollywood has been running. This problem seems to have manifested itself after I applied Security Update 2007-001, which updated QuickTime. The workaround has been to lock, and then unlock my screen again.

SaveHollywood ReviewStill The Best - Version: 1.8.1, 11/28/2006 06:35PM PST

NakAttack
SaveHollywood is still the best screensaver for Mac OS X that plays QuickTime movies. (Are there any others?) I was delighted to find that version 1.8.1 is a Universal Binary despite having been released nearly a year ago.
