Plexoo CommentaryDon't pay for Beta software - Version: 1.0b5, 5/21/2009 09:39PM PST

tod3
Beta software is buggy and you shouldn't have to pay to perform public beta testing for the developer. A decent and honest developer ought to be happy that there are users who are willing to do his public beta testing for nothing and might even give a price break to beta testers. In fact, there were times past when developers would actually pay users to be beta testers.

But today? Nah, not a chance what with everyone doing a little coding and dumping 1.0 beta versions on VT and asking the public to finance them through to the final release version.

Greedy developers, just say no to them!
