They recommend you pick your own private encryption key, then note as the very last line in their product description that this is NOT available on the Mac. I wouldn't recommend it until private encryption key support is available. Otherwise, they store the system encryption key on their servers and unauthorized access by iDrive personnel or hackers is possible.

Price above looks too good to be true! - Version: 1.3.5, 7/3/2009 08:32PM PST

In the description above you can see this:
Pro 150GB $4.95/month
Pro Business 50GB 9.95/month
So to me it looks like a no-brainer to get 150 (one hundred fifty) GB for $5 a month. Why pay $10 a month for only 50 GB.
I'm ready to sign up at this blowout price!

Private encryption is available only for Windows but not for Mac according to the website. I would therefore not want to use this until I control the encryption.

iDrive failed to completely backup some folders and files that I had selected, yet it did backup some folders and files that I had NOT selected.
In addition, it seemed to choke (by stalling completely) on some specific file types such that in eight hours overnight it made no progress at all beyond where it was when I went to bed (and no, I do not have my Energy Saver prefs set to put anything to sleep).
Note: The downloadable User Guide seems to be only for the Windows version.
