Product Description:

Tired of always searching all the documents and files you need for your work - even with the use of Spotlight. Need to simply make packages of documents/files for export (for example if you've finished a new DTP job for a client or if you've finished a research and want a complete package of all documents, images, archives etc.)? Thats the reason why I've designed this new app. I want and need all my documents at my fingertip and access them with ease by drag & drop and by shortcut or even sometimes access them by the Menu bar and the interface for fast finding them should be very easy to use and very decent. I also need a portable solution. So myDocuments can run from any Thumb Drive, a NAS (extern HDD) or even store its data and all documents on an iDisk (Dropbox etc.) - so you can have your important data, files and documents always with you and in sync between different Macs.
  • store and fast find needed documents with ease
  • Drag & Drop
  • decent HUD View
  • use Tags (with autocompletion)
  • use as Menu bar application
  • access your documents/files with shortcut
  • create Packages (you may know from InDesign)
  • use it as Portable Application
  • keep your work in sync with different Macs
  • immediately see missing documents
  • create groups for a better workflow
  • much more...

The guy at MOApp Software has made some great programs in the past, and this follows in that tradition. This app is crafted with love to detail, stable, very easy to use and reasonable priced. I'd rather say the fool here is dressed2kell.

This bovine application doesn't even allow for importing more than one document at a time, be it via drag & drop or the import dialogue. With the inane myDocument version 1.1 being released in April, one can't help but wonder if this is simply an April Fools' joke. Unfortunately I'm not laughing with myDocuments but laughing at it. It would hardly be surprising to learn that these developers had defected from AlphaOmega. Please let us know when this thing is out of alpha would ya? Good grief.
