I downloaded this today and tried it. It works just like it says, but YOU CAN NOT UNINSTALL IT! I realized when I was using InDesign CS4 and needed to type all caps - hit the CAPS LOCK key and the screen went blank. You can't use the caps lock key at all!

When I tried to uninstall it, I could not do it because you CAN'T QUIT THE SOFTWARE TO UNINSTALL IT! And you can't trash it because you can't quit it.

I was lucky. I have 3 hard drives on my Mac Pro, with OS 10.4.11 installed on 2 of them. I switched startup drives, restarted on my backup drive, when to my USER folder, dragged ShadeIt to the trash. I then went into USER/LIBRARY/PREFERENCES and found the plist preference (it starts with RU.....), and trashed it, and emptied the trash. Then switched startup drives to my primary drive, and all traces were gone. Obviously it works because I used the CAP LOCK key in this message.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend ShadeIt!
