Hawkscope is a productivity tool that allows you to access your hard drive contents quickly via system tray icon with dynamic pop-up menu. It allows you to configure your favorite locations for quick opening. Or you can just browse through your hard drive and find what you're looking for.
Version 0.5.3 features optimized memory consumption and overall performance, has a few miscellaneous Windows improvements, and fixes network settings proxy authentication checkbox behavior. Long menus are no longer split. Menus reload in the background (with at least 3 minutes between reloads). There is a new Execute plugin.
In version 0.5.4 Open With plugin now saves and loads custom application paths well in Windows and opens files with spaces well on Linux, various enhancements were made with the Execute and Twitter plugins, the Gmail Checker plugin was added, keyboard navigation has improved, and opening huge folders is no longer a problem.
