Product Description:
Pod to Mac lets you easily copy, transfer or rip the music, videos and playlists from any iPod or iPhone directly into iTunes on any Mac. By decoding the iPods binary database, Pod to Mac rapidly reveals the contents of any iPod and then lets you choose what to do with the tracks. Play counts, ratings and the other track details are all recovered for every song transferred. The program\'s features also include audio and video track previews, sortable columns and more!
What's new in this version:
A bug preventing tracks with a "/" in their name or artist field has been resolved. A bug due to memory management, causing the program to freeze mid-transfer, has been fixed.
A green arrow now indicates the current track being transferred and red "x"s denote tracks that failed to transfer.
Note that, in this version, if two tracks have the same name and artist fields only may be transferred. This issue will be fix in the next release.

Used this app to restore playlists from itouch to itunes using OS X 10.6. Now I won't have to pay someone to mine my dead HD. Incredibly easy to use.

Having used the free version of Senuti for a number of years, I was looking for something new after it became shareware that, IMO, was overpriced at $18!
Pod to Mac rewarded my search. I find it does everything I need and I prefer the GUI. For me, this is the one I use and I'm very happy to see the developer continue to improve it with bug fixes etc...

Copied off everything from my iPhone after moving to a new mac. (I copied the photos with iPhoto)
