French Byki Express Language Learning Troubleshooting Reporthang "loading scores" on initial launch - Version: 4.0, 3/26/2009 04:31PM PST

dorkypants
After downloading the zip file, expanding it and installing from the .pkg file within the .dmg file, I double-clicked the app icon. It asked me for a username, so I created a new one (since it was the first time I'd run the app). I then opened 2 windows, 1 asking me to "pick a list", the other one a dialog saying "loading scores", which showed a dead "progress bar". I was unable to close the "loading scores" window by clicking on the titlebar close-widget. The other window beeped at anything I tried to click on in it.
