LittleSnapper ReviewCrashes repeatedly - Version: 1.5.1, 10/15/2009 02:51PM PST

It's always a concern when new software crashes repeatedly before it ever gets working. This was my experience with LittleSnapper using OS X 10.5.8 PPC. After the first crash, the program said it needed to update a library. Crashed again. Waste of time.

Anyone know why my annotations span about five counties to the right?

LittleSnapper ReviewNice to have - Version: 1.0.4, 5/19/2009 06:56AM PST

I found LS very stable and useful. Sure, you can capture your screen with the built-in functions, but the sorting/tagging/editing/notes tools and the easy way to publish your images is very handy.

Why would you buy an application that the mac can already do. Shift, Command, 3 gives you a screen shot. Shift, command, 4 gives you cross hairs to drag over an area of the screen and capture just what you want. The default output is desktop and it opens in preview that has it's own photo tools.

LittleSnapper ReviewThat's it, I've had it. - Version: 1.0.3, 5/12/2009 07:44PM PST

If I had a nickel for every time this pos crashed on me I'd hire a development team to build a stable version. This latest crash is the last for me. I've had it with this thing! And if it's not crashing it's ruining entire littlesnapper libraries of snapshots by telling me that it must be from an older version (which it never is) and that it can't open the frickin' library. Beware, use at your own risk. You'll spend plenty of time tagging and organizing almost for naught. Luckily I backup routinely, nevertheless, what a hassle to constantly be wrestling with this finicky little bastard. I'm happily return to Flysketch in concert with iPhoto to handle my screenshot annotating and organizational and cloud-connecting needs. Sayonara LittleSnippetySnapper!
