Product Description:

Calibre is a one stop solution to your e-book needs. It is free, open source and cross-platform in design. Calibre is meant to be a complete e-library solution and thus includes library management, format conversion, news feeds to e-book conversion, as well as e-book reader sync features and an integrated e-book viewer.

Calibre's features include: library management; format conversion (all major ebook formats); syncing to e-book reader devices; fetching news from the Web and converting it into ebook form; viewing many different e-book formats; giving you access to your book collection over the internet using just a browser.

Version 0.5.2 fixes the HTML to EPUB conversion error, supports reading metadata from Amazon Topaz books, automatically accesses your EPUB collection in Stanza, and other bug-fixes.

OS X 10.6.1 (10B504)

Intel Core 2 Duo

Boot ROM Version: IM81.00C1.B00

If anyone out there has the OS X chops to dissect an error report for possible cause I'll post it.

Seems like a great idea. I hope to see a version that works on OS X some time.

Thanks.

Downloaded this app.
Opened the app, and get a request to enter my password.

WTF is that about ??
Is it an installer ?? A Trojan ?? Rubbish programming ??

I don't know, and so Calibre remains unused.
