Product Description:

I have to set up quite a few Macs, and as I got tired of always using the terminal to change the hidden preferences of Safari 4 I wrote a quick app to make life easier for me. As others might find it useful too I'm now putting it out into the wild - but please be aware that you are using it at your own risk. The app is doing the same thing that the terminal commands are doing so nothing should go haywire. If you do find it useful then a donation is always appreciated ;-)

What's new in this version:

  • new hosting site found
  • corrected version info
  • window is no longer resizable (shouldn't have been in the first place)
  • app now quits when window is closed

Apple seems to have changed Safari 4 so that the changes are no longer set via Prefs but are build-in. Nothing I can do about that until someone figures out a way to modify Safari 4.

Nice little app but a work in progress. Tweaks is integrated in the Safari menu bar and doesn't require updating.

This simple lil app works fine. Probably just runs the commands for you instead of doing the same thing with terminal. Bust if your computer runs so crappy that you think it locked you down then you dont need to be messing with Safari preferences in the first place. You need to get some of the third party games and other non essential crap off that has hosed your computer. This lil app sure didnt hose it
