Product Description:

SpiralBound is intended for those Mac users who find that they store way too much information in Stickies, but aren't interested in using a database. SpiralBound is modeled after a spiral bound notepad with a few modern additions. Features include: The convenience of Stickies plus organizing and security features. The ability to remove pages from the notepad and display them as separate windows and return them to the notepad. Pages can be reordered using an intuitive visual approach. An inline calculator can be accessed at any time by just typing a mathematical expression. Pages can be searched by title or content; past searches are remembered. Pages can be password protected at the user's option. The pages can be secured from prying eyes when in the background or after a period of inactivity. Data can be imported from Stickies.

SpiralBound ReviewEssential App - Version: 1.0.4, 6/12/2009 09:03PM PST

LogCabin
This great little app does everything it promises without using much memory or CPU. I could no longer be happy on my MacBook without it because I can set up pages to hold all the sorts of info I want to put into it until I get around to storing them somewhere else (maybe).

SpiralBound is not greedy--info is easily pasted into or exported into other files. There's nothing proprietary here.

Mine stays in the Dock so I can click it up and hide it (or turn it off) at need, without wasting screen space. Very obliging.

This app has so many uses and possibilities that I can't begin to list them. I keep a running list of expenses incurred while on the Web (and the app does the math!), of bits and pieces I copy while browsing, of Memos to Self, a To-Do list of course, a page of User-names and passwords to new sites until I get around to transferring them to an encrypted file, a page of registration #s and other data for new apps until I can file the info where it belongs, an ever-changing list of Books Unread or Reading . . . much much more.

Very versatile. Completely convenient. For the price, it's a steal.

I made a mistake while trying to register the product and emailed for Help. I got a helpful email next morning ! I entered my first 4 notes - seems to be a useful little program.

It looked like it was going to be a brilliant little app that might solve my "sticky" needs, but the nagging starts far too early. It's a $5 app. At least give me a week before you start nagging me, not a few minutes after I start using it. I uninstalled it and will look elsewhere.
