I am using another app for that. But it is for Safari browser only:

I like the function oft this app (missing it 20 years on MacOS), but unfortunately it's slowing down the responsiveness of my System (10.5.6) and especially the responsiveness of Eudora 6.2 on keyboard input or mouse click.
May be some incompatibility with my other login items (Spark, AutoHide) which are more important for me.
One User Report on MacOS X Hints claims also incompatibility with One Finger Snap.
