This widget displays teletext pages of the following channels:
  • Austria: ORF
  • Belgium: een, 2be, vtm, RTBF
  • Germany: 3sat, ARD, BR, festival, hr, MDR, NDR, SR, das Vierte, WDR, kabel 1, Pro 7, Sat.1
  • Italy: RAI
  • Netherlands: NOS, rtl, RTVNH, Noord, Oost
  • Portugal: RTP
  • Spain: TVE, Antena 3, TV3 cuatro, Telemadrid
  • Sweden: SVT, TV3, TV4
  • Switzerland: SF1, SF2, tsr1, tsr2, RSI1, RSI2
  • UK/Ireland: Ceefax (BBC1, BBC2, RTE Aertel)

Access a page by typing its number, clicking on a page link or by one of 9 shortcuts.
Navigate through pages with the left and right arrow keys, through sub pages with the up and down arrow keys.

The teletext service is also known as televideo, teletexto, teletekst and textTV.

teletext ReviewWell, Italian is also there.. even if hidden - Version: 1.3.1, 2/17/2009 09:34AM PST

The previous evaluation was far too much unfair, but putting 5 stars only to contrast it would be a reaction.. and we (civil people) are not 'reacting guys', not so? :-)
Anyway this program is GREAT for who has not the Televideo and more for his speed.
Resizing the window could be also not so bad to read it better

I downloaded this app. and tried to get my local station RTE Aertel. However, it was not in English and when I clicked on the 'i' for info. icon, it only seemed to display three countries i.e. Switzerland, Austria or Germany. So, unless I've misunderstood, I cannot recommend this widget for Ireland, the UK, or those countries outside of the three mentioned above.
