Product Description:

NR Time helps you by tracking the time you spend working on different tasks. Simply add tasks as you start them, set the check mark and move on. Time in the main window is displayed in tenths of an hour to make your billing a breeze, although time in the notification area is displayed in minutes to give you the precise view. The program features include convenient task entry, manual time adjustment, status bar icon with total time, quick pausing and resuming of a running task, and convenient keyboard shortcuts.

In version 1.4 drag'n'drop reordering of the list was added.

Best simple work timer - Version: 1.1, 1/16/2009 05:10AM PST

I have tried a lot of these work-timer apps. They tend to fall into two camps: those that try to do everything for you (client lists, reports, invoicing etc), or those that just record time. If you want the features, then I’d recommend OfficeTime, but if all you want is a list of tasks and a timer with a very direct and simple interface that doesn’t get in your way, I think NR Timer is now the best: there are still one or two minor oddities to get used to (there is no option yet to show just the total for the current task in the status item), but with single-click toggling of the timer, direct editing of totals, minimal system load and no redundancy, this is the one.

There is another product called Time Tracker out there that is free. http://code.google.com/p/time-tracker-mac/
I don't know how this product, with the same name, compares.
