Product Description:

FM Starting Point is a completely FREE FileMaker template designed for use with FileMaker Pro 10, and is focused on small businesses, work groups, and non-profit organizations. These templates were built with the experience gained from working with these target groups for over 18 years. New FileMaker Pro users that are familiar with the Starter Solutions that come bundled with FileMaker Pro, will enjoy using FM Starting Point for an integrated approach to their business solution needs. Experienced FileMaker Pro users will value a FREE tool that makes building a new project substantially easier. Includes FREE version of 360Works SuperContainer for easy document management.

What's new in this version:

Thanks to a couple sharp FMSP users, we identified a couple of minor bugs, which we fixed. We also successfully used BaseElements to clean the file of unused objects.

The disclaimer notes that this product is only for FM version 10 (Filemaker). Do not use if you have earlier versions. Some nasty things may occur when running this under previous versions of Filemaker.

A lot of templates you see, especially free ones, are shells and provide minimal features with promises of more if you upgrade. This is a really nice template that covers all the bases REALLY well. If nothing else it will teach you good organization and design and maybe a more than a few tricks! I'm looking forward to digging into it!
