Product Description:
Capturing screenshots is a routine task of every Mac user for various reasons - maybe to add it to a blog, a presentation or simply to keep it for reference. Most of the times you would want to capture only a portion of the screen or any shape of the screen/ image and annotate them - Not all the tools would do it correct?
But one tool does it hands down, and that is Voila. Capture any shape, capture multiple screenshots simultaneously. Capture Menu, desktop or drag an image to Voila for annotating; Add annotations like arrow, text, lines, shapes, brush, paint, callouts, stamps; Add cool effects such as filters, edges, skew; Upload to iPhoto, share via Mail or Print.
What's new in this version:
- Option to upload images to FTP and publish on Flickr
- Support for exporting images via Microsoft Entourage
- Drag and drop annotated images to other applications
- UI updated with option to Zoom and Lock or Unlock image on the canvas
- Pressing Shift key while resizing the image or annotation maintains the aspect ratio
- Copy and paste annotations within the images in the history
- Keyboard support provided for selecting and moving the annotations
- Thumbnails are dynamically updated following the changes in the annotations
- Six new filters including Saw Tooth and Torn Edge and seven new Stamps have been added

Second deal-breaker is the inability to sort folders and collections into hierarchies; it didn't take long for the Voila! sidebar to get cluttered up with a long list of collections, a hoard that eventually rendered the function useless.
Now that LittleSnapper seems to have fixed it's library-version corruption hassle I have to return to LS for another try.
