Guaranteed PDF Decrypter CommentaryWorks ok - Version: 3.0a, 1/8/2009 03:48AM PST

I wonder why is so difficult to read three-lines description?
Firstly, it supports Intel Mac only (last line in description).
Secondly, when printing as PDF, use password for copy/print (not for open). (Also is written in
description)
Finally, script runs fine for me.

Via the Print cmd, I have created a simple one page PDF with the password '123' on my on G5 PPC and saved it to the desktop.

When I run GuaPDF via Terminal I get "Bad CPU type in executable".

When run as an AppleScript I get "sh: /Volumes/Storage: No such file or directory". ('Storage' is one of my external drives, but as the target file does not reside there I don't see how that's relevant to the operation of the script.)

In all, the Demo won't let me demo.

Anyway, what's with having to run this app via command line on a Mac, but via a GIU on a Win? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Isn't that why most Mac users use a Mac - so they don't have to revert to the DOS-like Terminal?

Just downloaded the Demo and tried to decrypt a PDF which I password-protected via built-in function in the Mac (Print-> print as PDF and use encryption).
This utility failed to decrypt it!

Never heard of this one before and it's already up to v3. Impressive. Wonder if it really works - I shall go download the demo and try it out.
