Knowing about this very issue of having multiple versions of InDesign installed on a Mac -- and having every InDesign document (regardless of the version it was created in) open in the latest version, I only wish I'd known about this sooner. I've never liked have to 'upsave' documents to the latest version of an application, only to need it to be used in an earlier version somewhere down the track. Oh well.

.. rather than dragging your document onto this application, you could just drag it to the correct version of Indesign/Incopy.
