MeshWrite ReviewIs this the Windoze section of VT? - Version: 1.3.9, 9/13/2009 09:43PM PST

I took a look at the screenshots and did a double-take thinking I's somehow wandered into the Windoze section.

Hey Developer: You might want to take the time to make some decent screenshots of this dog while it's on a Mac monitor!

Displaying what looks like a port to the Mac is pretty sloppy.

I urge all Windoze developers who think about porting such ugly apps to the Mac platform to reconsider that thought and leave us strictly alone with lame stuff like this. Oh, and check out the pricing of the competing GTD apps here on the Mac side of VT before you think we'll pay such outrageous "shareware" prices.

MeshWrite CommentaryIt says something... - Version: 1.1.3, 5/10/2009 10:11PM PST

It says something when a piece of software is presented almost every day as being revised. MeshWrong claims to be a next-generation software. I sure hope this is not what the future looks like. The interface is klutzy. Utility is lacking. It is unnecessarily oblique while at the same time lacking in function. Recommend this? Hell no!

Since this is my second post, some readers might think that I am entering into a vendetta. Nothing could be further from the truth. I don't know the authors of the software, I just find it repugnant when amateurish efforts are presented as expert.

A cross-platform software application that's humorously lame, imagine that! $62 is the rimshot! Dear Windows developers, please keep your slipshod software to yourselves.

I agree with the other two reviews --- $62??? but you can get it in Jan. for $38

But unfortunately for MeshWrite, they have too many competitors not to have a better price point. If you know the price is $62 and there are about 10 other similar products for half the price (journler, evernote, voodoopad) why even bother looking at it.

throw out a bone

MeshWrite Commentary62.00? - Version: 1.0.5, 1/8/2009 10:47AM PST

62.00 for a notepad and stickies app. This is a joke, right?

I wouldn't pay you $62.00 for this thing, even if it included your running to my house, as needed, to type the notes out for me.

MeshWrite Commentary$62 and no demo? I don't think so. - Version: 1.0.3, 12/6/2008 11:56PM PST

I'm a notorious shareware and gadget junkie but even I won't spend $62 on an unknown piece of software from an unknown developer with NO DEMO? They must be kidding.
The program looks like it's got potential. I'd have given it a shot if it had been anything close to reasonable.
