Product Description:

Easy-to-use 3D grapher that plots high quality graphs for 2D and 3D functions and coordinates tables. Graphing equations is as easy as typing them down. Both cartesian and polar coordinates are supported as well as parametric equations and inequalities. Graphs are beautifully rendered with gradual colors and lighting and reflection effects. In 3D graphs, the lighting and shadow effects conveniently demonstrate the depth of the graph regions. Fast rotation and translation of graphs with the mouse and with animations make graph visualization easy. The intuitive user-interface is designed with frequency of use in mind. Equations are instantly plotted as you type them down after each key stroke. The frequently used tools and options are only one click away. Value table for x-y-z coordinates can be generated, modified and re-plotted instantly.

Version 3.1 includes inequalities, animations and variable controls through use of visual sliders.

Version 3.0, dated 2 weeks from now. Um, huh? - Version: 3.1, 7/17/2009 02:20PM PST

Well, it looks a bit retro, circa Mac OS 7. The metadata says it's version 3.0, not 3.1. The creation and date is July 31, 2009 at 4:00 AM, and today is July 17, 2009. So it dropped out of the past via a warp hole that transects two weeks from now. I guess I'm getting the hang of time mechanics!

Seriously. WTF?

It runs fine on Java updated 10.4.11. I stress that you have ALL the Java updates because there are a couple massive security holes in the previous version of Mac Java. No point in taking chances. For all I know this odd program is an exploit Trojan.

Joking! It's nice to have a freeware 3D calculator for Mac OS X.

And yet...
