What's new in this version:

the most important is that RealCADD 3.00 allow to create your own tools very simply. For that read "Read me scripts.pdf"
now you can rotate string.
now you can drawing directly parallels lines or polygon or ... :
- First choose the menu "Edit" item "Parallels..." and fill the dialog
- after, choose a drawing tools and use it with option key or space key down
- the key must be down before the first clic with the tools.
- and you draw parallels objects directly
a better zoom tools with menus
- look in the menu "Window", now you have an item "Zoom in", another "Zoom out" and ..."Zoom All"
- "Zoom in" and "Zoom out" work like the buttons on the window
- but try "Zoom in" with one or some objects selected...
- "Zoom All" do a zoom out to display all objects or the entire drawing area.
- The tools "Zoom" work better
a new menu "Open Recent"
round rectangles now have a fifth handle : try it...
Dimensions tools can have tolerance (one or two)
now when RealCADD read a DXF file, objects on the paper space are ignored
if there is no object selected, you can use the up and down arrow key to change the active layer

Looks good, but it is not usable yet. The possibilities to seriously test it are limited because the demo version does not allow to save a file. This fact also indicates this software is not shareware but bayware with a very, very limited demo version (it's not really a trial version if you cannot save a file, IMHO)

I've only used it for one day trying it out, but it works pretty good. It flawlessly imported a DXF file (from an architect) whereas PC programs bungled the import. So I am impressed so far. Price has gone up to $95 versus the $75, but is still competitive with the PC programs.

Panning a program because the developer speaks French is really ugly. CADD programs are expensive and a $75 alternative is to be encouraged. Sure there are a few words in French here and there, but come on, you whiners, most people who live in other countries have to struggle with English-only software. If you know how to use a CADD program, this one will work for you, and you can create new tools using Real Basic scripts.
