Analog Helper X CommentaryWAY too expensive - Version: 1.5.6, 4/30/2003 05:15PM PST

brossow
Excuse me, but I think it's outrageous to charge 40 bucks for a GUI config tool for two pieces of FREE software that others have worked very hard to produce and provide at no charge to the rest of the world. To me it's unconscionable to directly profit from these people's hard work, especially at such a price. I could see charging a few bucks to cover time and other expenses, but there's a clear profit motive here that to me doesn't fit with the spirit of open-source software engendered by the packages this program supports. Not cool, IMHO.
