AppTrap for 10.4 ppc does not install (1.0.5)

Sounds great but doesn't work; the pane never loads even after 15 minutes. You hit the button to "start AppTrap" but that doesn't work. Obviously I've uninstalled/reinstalled. Have tried on install to have it for the machine or the user, entered the admin pw but same (no) result. Running 10.4.11
Does what it says on the tin

I agree with mikebenda: this seems the best of the app-trashing utilities because it is so simple to use. Trash your unwanted application and let AppTrap clear up after you - or not, if you don't want it to. No problems with Snow Leopard.
The best one I've tried

I like this app a lot; much more than any other I've tried.
It works simply and elegantly, remaining unobtrusive in the background until I drag an application to the trash, then it presents a list of files/folders and asks me if I want to trash them too.
I've recommended it to my friends.
