I've tried many timers for OS X, but I always come back to Tea Timer. Too many developers make the mistake of thinking that if they throw enough features at the wall, a good timer app will result. Not true. If you want a timer application that counts down a specified time of the USER'S choosing, and then alerts the user when the time has expired, then Tea Timer is nearly perfect. If you want something that counts down the time and then launches several apps, plays an mp3, speaks a text message of your choosing, and sends form emails to everyone in your addy book, then Tea Timer is thankfully not for you.
The only changes I would make are to permit time entry by both keyboard and up/down arrows, and also to user-configurable time presets. Oh maybe the ability to spawn multiple timers, but that might violate the beautiful simplicity of this app.
Thanks for a great application!
