Celtx is the world's first all-in-one media pre-production system. It replaces 'paper & binder' pre-production with a digital approach that's more complete, simpler to work with, and easier to share. Celtx helps you create all types of media - film, video, documentary, theatre, machinima, comics, advertising, video games, music video, radio, podcasts, videocasts, and however else you choose to tell your story.

What's new in this version:

  • Revision Mode - lock scenes when editing a script that is in production.
  • Sketch Tool - add drawings to a project.
  • Text Lock - lock a script from further text editing, while continuing with script breakdown
  • Live Chat - instant messaging for Celtx Studio users.
  • TypeSet/PDF - ability to set 1,2 or 3 line spacing between scenes, plus BBC Cue and BBC Scene formats for Audio Plays.

I've been using Celtx for a little over 6 months, in that time they've upgraded and improved it twice. Celtx does what they say. It's great for writing screen plays and all aspects of pre production. Doing breakdowns, prop and location lists. Not to mention that the price is right!
