Not a shred of documentation anywhere. Good thing it's free. - Version: 2.5.1, 2/2/2009 01:27AM PST

I'm sure this is a wonderful little app for its purposes (whatever those are). Though it's hard to say for sure without knowing what it does or how it works -- no manual, no Help, not even anything on its webpage. Well, maybe one day I'll find a use for it.
I'd pay for it if... - Version: 2.5.1, 1/19/2008 12:00AM PST

PLEASE add flip, rotate and scaling (course/fine increments) icons to the tool bar and I'll GLADLY $upport this fine app! Nice job so far.
Goldberg is a great image viewer and I don't see what the name has to do with judging this app!

This is without exception a great image viewer that I have used for years. It is just too bad that the name "boils in some unfortunate individual's gut." It is a sad world indeed when we judge an application's usefulness by its name.

Not sure why someone wrote that they missed Goldberg since Tiger - I've used 2.4 with Tiger for months, no problem (will now update). This app does all I need at least 90% of the time; quickly and simply. Bravo!

The other day, I was developing a PowerPoint presentation for a class. The problem was that when I'd paste a picture into the presentation, it would only show up as a black box on a Windows machine running PowerPoint. The trick was to open the picture in Goldberg and paste it from there. I don't know why this works, but it was a big life saver for me!

A simple, clean, effective viewer for someone who isn't dealing with thousands of photos and doesn't want to wade through obvious complexity ... particularly admired the tiny floating toolbar. The one star review below strikes me as one of the most unfair I've seen.
The best!

I am SO glad Goldberg has returned! For small, quick editing chores on images this is the best application I've found. I was so disappointed when it disappeared after the release of Tiger, and so glad now that it's back. For resizing, cropping and other small tasks, this is the quickest and most efficient utility I've found. Great workd!

I can't believe this is free because it does so much of what I used to use Photoshop for. It loads quickly (unlike Photoshop) and its more intuitive. There are a LOT of things that its missing in order to compete with products of that caliber, but for a freeware application - this thing is excellent, just excellent. Heck even if I had to pony up a few bones for this one - it would still be worth the money.
