Very nice addition for any Mac geek. I find it really useful to be able to monitor my system using these meters. Shows me instantly when anything weird is happening. And this particular implementation looks better and is more customisable than others I have tried. Nice work!
Pretty and functional, but quite resource intensive

Yes, this is a great set of widgets, but 2.0 still needs some work...
Consistently uses almost 10% of my CPU time and seems to cause SystemUIServer to use quite a bit of memory...
I uninstalled it today from my Mini and SystemUIServer dropped from 2.6GB Real Memory (per Activity Monitor) to less than 200MB Real Memory... without a restart.
For now I've turned off all but 3 of the widgets and am hopeful that the developer will tune the application so that it uses fewer resources...

iStats has just replaced MenuMeters after years of using it. The interface is much nicer and everything is extremely customizable. I've even replaced Apple's date/time menu with iStats' version because it's so much nicer, esp. because of the drop-down monthly calendar and the ability to change the font size.
Main reason for getting iStat was to see the temperature of my CPU. Not only are there sensors for the CPU, but also for the battery, AirPort card, power supply, and even the enclosure!
I'm so impressed with their attention to detail that it's definitely worth giving a donation to the developers!
