first Apple Mail is not supported - so if you want to use it - its a problem (for OSX tiger Mail is a plugin available but it is not supported by pgp) osx snow leopard no support at all!!!!
I have some Problems with PGP and ask for support (PGP WDE is crashing the mac - many macs): for a long time (more then 1 week) no answer at all, then they ask me to reinstall osx or restart the Mac and traid to waist my time with stupid questions. After nearly 4 month they say they have no solution for that problem.
now the new beta for snow leo is out - no more crashes but still no support for osx Snow leo mail but now there is not evan a plugin available.
Finally i would prefer GPG but the easy of use is hurable, updates are taking years (for examle for (snow) leopard), support is not possible but this Product is for Free!!!
