Product Description:

Weatherling is an easy access Dock Extra that interfaces with the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service. The National Weather Service is the primary source of weather data, forecasts and warnings for the United States (and other international areas). Television weathercasters and private meteorology companies prepare their forecasts using this information. The NWS is the United States official voice for issuing warnings during life-threatening weather situations. With all the power of the NWS, NOAA and Mac OS X, Weatherling brings this powerful weather information right to your desktop!

Thanks for all the current feedback sent in! I am still calling out to all users of Weatherling to provide feedback and feature requests. Weatherling is an on going project, and will be followed with frequent updates per user feedback. Please send all suggestions to oxide@mac.com. I know the current release is still somewhat limited, but with ideas from the crowd this will be a great product!

What's new in this version:

Station browser for easy navigation of all the 6,170 stations available to monitor!
Monitor multiple stations (all in the root menu for now).
Unit conversion -- option to show English or Metric weather data.
The preference window and about window should now come to the front of all windows.
Uses the generic Weatherling Dock Extra icon until dynamic icon support is implemented.

best weather info, and it sits in my Dock. What more could I ask for?.......well maybe some sort of notice that Washington State is now called Western Australia, you think the news would have said something about it...

it 5 stars, but I've been waiting on it to be "finished" for a year and a half. Simplicity: always there, one click, always up-to-date. More features aren't needed; I can always go to a website for a full weather report. I just want to know what it's doing in about 20 places... right now!
