Product Description:

A purpose-built page layout application for the Web, Freeway gives you all the legendary ease-of-use and features that launched the desktop publishing revolution.

Quickly and effortlessly lay out your website, embed images and content, then publish your work as clean, standards-compliant HTML, and upload to your server, to .Mac, or to a folder. Freeway's smart about publishing - it'll only upload only your changes, saving you lots of time.

Let Freeway handle the heavy lifting.

Multimedia is a snap: embed Flash, QuickTime, YouTube content and more in seconds. E-commerce? Freeway comes with a free solution that allows you to make everything catalog pages right through to your shopping cart.

With excellent free and responsive telephone and email technical support, Freeway is the tool of choice for serious web designers, or anyone who wants to express themselves on the Web.

You supply the creativity. Freeway handles the code.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a crash that could occur if Freeway was attempting to generate a live preview for a Flash movie.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the live preview to continue to run indefinitely internally.
  • Fixed a crash that could happen in Freeway Express if you dragged an image into an item when the shift key was held down.
  • MobileMe upload works when iDisk syncing is turned on
  • The MobileMe upload dialog doesn't forget its upload path every time a key (such as Return!) is pressed
  • The Web Address field in the Upload dialog is not left blank for MobileMe upload
  • The Upload method no longer switches from MobileMe to FileCopy when an upload directory outside "iDisk/Web/Sites" is chosen
  • Freeway shows a blank Web address if a MobileMe upload directory is outside the "iDisk/Web/Sites" folder (or a legacy DotMac upload is outside iDisk/Sites)
  • Quotation marks are no longer encoded incorrectly in Extended dialogs

Freeway Pro CommentaryDoes it do multiple levels of undo yet? - Version: 5.3.2, 3/4/2009 05:09PM PST

This has been something that has held me back from spending any more money on this product!
Multiple undo inability coupled with general beta-ness of most versions until they get into high revision numbers.
That said, if you want to hack up a site its a fair tool.
