Adobe Acrobat Reader Troubleshooting ReportAdobe PDFViewer Plugin still not 64-bit compatible. - Version: 9.2, 10/14/2009 10:01PM PST

DEspite the upgrade to v9.2, the Adobe PDFViewer Plugin remains v9.1 and is only compatible with Safari 4 if that browser is set to run in 32-bit mode. I hope Adobe fixes this soon, since the built-in viewer in Safari has fewer features.

For the life of me I can't think of a reason to DL this software. I've done well with Preview and can't think of one reason that I need Reader with it's inherent problems.

So, what's with VersionTracker? Is there ANY app that works with 10.6? VT seems to think 10.5 is the latest from Apple. As far as Adobe Reader goes, nothing here about working with SL, so I assume it doesn't. I tried it but it dies as soon as launched. I haven't gotten Reader to open since updating to SL, but Preview's OK, so I'll stick with that. Or is this "new" version of Reader like all their last since 9.0... you have to download all incremental updates, since uploading to their own site 9.1.3 complete seems to be beyond the AdobeGeeks' many many talents.
