I used iFreeMem for many years successfully but 3.5 is also not working for me under 10.6. Snow Leo. Pity!

I could only get this app to run once per bootup. Couldn't tell any difference in speed after it ran. Now, if it zapped the VM swap file, maybe it would be worth the $8. Also, I couldn't get the touted additional features to work. I didn't purchase after the trial expired. I have a dual-1GHz PPC dual-mirror-door Mac, 2GB RAM, OS 10.5.8.

I tried this. I liked what it does and how it does it. I went to cheerfully pay the advertised $8 cost only to find out that the price is 10 pounds ($18.90). This is more than twice the advertised $8 cost!
