Snard is a menu bar and dock based Launcher. Snard reduces dock and screen clutter by replacing numerous items with a convenient system menu, dock menu or hot key activated menu.

Like this app alot! But would like it more if you could have it in the Dock as well. Would be great when you're running Leopard.

Version 2.5 Grays System Prefs Menu - Version: 2.5, 9/29/2006 08:18PM PST

I've been using SNARD for over a year now and typically had good results. The most recent version (2.5) grays out the prefs when I turn on the show System Prefs option, i.e. the pref panes are not selectable. Has anyone else had this problem? As soon as I select "Configure" and then close the SNARD configuration window, normal functionality returns.

I installed versions 2.4.4 and 2.4.5, both released today. Instant crash with both. I restore my version 2.4.3 and it works great with Tiger 10.4.2. I guess I'll wait until the dust settles before giving it another go. I recommend Snard as long as today's releases get fixed. I reinstalled version 2.4.3 because I use Snard every day and would miss having it. My rating are based upon my working version.
