It never works when I try to add my own site... anyway, This Dockling ONLY baby is so clean that I just keep coming back for more, I just wish a few more of the available sites listed their articles titles in the code, however that works, as oppose to just that parenthetical "update) or something.
Anyway, this app is beautiful, get if you don't got it already, haven't found anything better as far as convenience.

One note to makers of RSS feed readers. There exists a real need for a way to host one's RSS streams in a minimalist HTML format so that people can read their feeds on a cellular phone, which naturally can't handle lots of extravagant graphics but could display the contents of RSS feeds with graphics easily. Services like Bloglines, which let you surf your feeds online from any computer, still require logins and other things that a cell phone couldn't handle. So how about adding support for this with an RSS reader -- it could have options for creation of a view-anywhere HTML display that could be surfed from any machine via web sharing, or uploaded to an FTP site at regular intervals? Viewing one's RSS feeds on a cell phone is a "killer app" that has been ignored totally so far, as long as I can tell.

What is with the strange icons graphics it gets when it flashes telling you it has updated.
Other than that its great! I am blown away at how much RSS info there is out there now.

Nice little app.
Goes hand in hand with Mac3DWatch 1.1 which is a nifty screensaver with a 3D clock & scrolling RSS feeds
Thats one for GDSparks

This is a nice little app... but I miss the days when PointCast gave me the news headlines via my screen saver. Anybody know of a replacement yet?
I quite like it...

...but there are two/three things that I dislike. first ist that it can't remember which News I already read after a restart of the program. Or quite nice was a separator that separates the new headlines from the previous fetched.
since I have hidden my dock all the time, I can't see the flashing icon, so a option to bounce the Icon was quite cool, too.

The first app I always make sure is installed

As a developer I end up restaging my machine all the time (reformat, reinstall). Because of this there are few applications that I bother to have installed on ever refresh - but Slashdock is most certainly one of the first applications I install. It keeps me up to date with what's going on in the world and is the perfect dock application. While others try to use other larger more 'bloated' applications to do the job, this one is really all you need.
excellent rss reader

with awesome feed selection! This may replace net news wire in my dock.
Drawbacks:
- Forces the use of some fairly terrible icons
- New/Updated notification didn't seem to work. It would show an article new one minute, not new the next, and then new again a while later.
- Adding/Organizing the feed list was a little tedious, but still workable.
Overall it seems to be one of the few simple dock/menu readers that'll work on Tiger and it does a decent job. It just wasn't outstanding enough for me to bother to try and fix.
