Product Description:

DMG Maker is a disk image creation utility. It is capable of creating various types of images such as Mac OS X's DMG images and Classic Mac OS's IMG images. DMG Maker can also automate the process through the use of presets and/or AppleScript. For software distributors, DMG Maker can apply license agreements to both image formats from rich text or plain text documents for several languages.

  • DMG and IMG formats including read/write, read only, and compressed (incl. zlib)
  • HFS and HFS Extended volume formats
  • Can set images to automatically open when mounted
  • Can set images as Internet-enabled to automatically copy contents to user's hard disk
  • Macbinary and Gzip encoded images
  • Encrypted images
  • Add license agreements for 16 languages from plain and rich text
  • Create images directly from directories and filter out unwanted files/directories using regular expressions
  • Save image settings as presets to quickly remake an image
  • Use AppleScript to automate image creation

  • Fixed a problem that would cause auto-copying of files to fail

but it does not provide a UDF, MSDOS, UNIX format. hdiutil does support it, but i cannot make discimages with that

It appears the usage of license files is broken in Panther. Says something about can't apply license for file at path (null).

Just FYI...
