Switch Audio Converter for Mac, Max, All2MP3, xACT, QTAmateur, rooVid Lite, iSquint, No Frills DVD2iPod.
None of them truly seem to work.
It's my conclusion that these are all the product of some fly-by-night shop that has distributed them to half a dozen resellers:
iTool, 4Media, Aimersoft, iSky, Xilisoft: They all offer rippers, DVD copiers, converters, suites of the same tools, etc. etc. I even asked one of the developers why his installer screen looked exactly like that of a "competitor." No answer. They even have been known to log in and post "reviews" of their own products and try to raise the ratings.
On Thursday (Feb 26) MacUpdate offered one of these products as their discount of the day and the comments section overflowed with testimonials against the "developer." Too bad the deal is closed and I can't point you to the URL as I usually like to back up my statements.
However, here is another site that calls these "developers" out:

Please don't be deceived! Please do not patronize these knock-off rip-off artists.
Do not waste your money!
