I would love to see short cuts for this app. Beside from that, it's a very handy tool. But 'space bar' to start/stop the tone, arrows for tone up/down. Maybe the length of the tone should also be possible to set, instead of indefinitely until pressed stop.

if each intrument was in its own tonality, like if the A for the Ten Sax would correspond to the fingering of an A instead of the concert A. If not, the use of the different instruments seems rather limited (the MIDI sounds are so far from the real thing that I'm better of with a plain piano sound to tune...).

the impression the tuner app made use of the mic-in and acted like a small, portable electronic tuner with lighted display to show how close you are to the note. That's what we really need. This app is great for helping music students learn to tune by ear. However, I for one would like to be able to tune my guitar a little more quickly.
