Yes, terminal interface a bit intimidating but not as bad as it looks.. quite doable. Reading the included instructions helped. Had to change search partition of sd card from 'partial' to 'whole', and it found many more missing pix (card wouldn't load on camera- said no images). Selected my desktop as destination and it created a destination folder there automatically. Would recommend it.

Wow, what can I say but Thank You for this freeware that enabled me to recover 390 valuable photos from an SD card that was mistakenly erased by my Father in law.
It is an intimidating program for a non-techie and I'm no techie but blundered my way through the screens. I'm now looking at a folder containing 390 recovered photos. Awesome. Thank you very much.

A bit intimidating if you are not used to working in Terminal, but this recovery worked like a charm. I was able to recover files from a corrupt Compact Flash II card on a mac running osX tiger. Great product.
